1. Trim the Stems ✂️
When you receive your bouquet, trim about 1–2 cm from the bottom of each stem at a 45-degree angle. This increases the surface area for water absorption and prevents the stems from sitting flat on the vase bottom, which can block water flow.
Tip: Re-trim the stems every couple of days to keep them fresh!

Make sure your vase is clean and tall enough to support your flowers without crowding them. Dirty vases can harbor bacteria that shorten your flowers' life.
3. Use Fresh, Clean Water 💧
Fill your vase with room-temperature water and change it every two days. Dirty water breeds bacteria that can quickly harm your bouquet. Add fresh flower food each time you change the water to provide nutrients and keep bacteria at bay.
4. Remove Leaves Below the Water Line 🍃
Any foliage left in the water will rot and cause bad smells and bacteria. Remove all leaves that sit below the water line before placing your flowers in the vase.

Place your flowers in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight, heaters, air conditioning, or fruit (which emits ethylene gas and can cause early wilting). Flowers thrive in moderate room temperatures.

Some flowers, especially delicate varieties, appreciate a light mist of water on their petals. This helps keep them hydrated and looking their best.
7. Remove Wilting Flowers Promptly
As individual flowers begin to wilt, remove them from the arrangement to prevent them from affecting the fresher blooms.
